Perseverance and passion:
A story of hope that defies adversity.
I started in the Company in June 2009, thanks to the fact that I met a person who worked at Pepsicola Venezuela and he told me to go to the facilities and leave my resume.
And so I did, but since I left it with the security guard, I really had little hope of receiving an answer, but to my surprise, 15 days later I received the most awaited call in my life.
I believe that the dream of most Venezuelans is to work at Empresas Polar and there I was with the opportunity in my hands. I went through the whole process of interviews and tests of the company, and at the end I was selected.
I started as a Sada Assistant, and little by little I began to make my work known, as a result of which I then went on to work as an Accounts Receivable Assistant.
Unfortunately, when I had been with the company for two years, the country’s situation forced us to close the office where I was, and I was left out. However, I never lost hope of getting back in at some point, and so I did!
Keep growing with the company
Within 2 years, in July 2013, I was returning to the company, but this time in El Vigia, Merida State. I loved the company so much that I moved cities and spent 5 years working there. This time I worked in SAC (Invoicing, Settlement, Sada Materials, Patio), thus going through all the departments of the area, and experiencing an endless number of eventualities such as strikes and barricades, among other things.
Many changes happened to me on a personal level, I got married, had my baby, and then in February 2018 I got the transfer to Merida, as Sales Administrator, something totally new for me. This stage was not easy, as I was in another department completely different and I had to adapt. I did it and I was there for 3 years, until the opportunity came up as a Sales Advisor, a position I currently hold, and with which I feel super identified.

When Polar runs through your veins
Some people have asked me if, when I pass in front of the Polar Bear, I get a selfie, and they even say that Polar runs through my veins. I love the street, I love the customers, and my greatest strength is the closeness I manage to develop with them. In November 2023, I lived the greatest experience of my history in the Company, when I went to the Excellence Awards, I proved that in Empresas Polar, constant work and dedication are rewarded. Yes, it can be done!
